Mother Nature can be a bit of a #%&!*! She dropped the temperatures last night and made it freeze. But she was no match for my husband...he pulled an all nighter and saved our Strawberries. All the irrigation pipes were out in the field with their frost nozzles on and the pump was primed! It wasn't Gerry's first all nighter and it won't be his last. He turned the water on around 11pm and let her fly. Once he got her running he stayed up to make sure the sprinklers didn't have any issues and also to keep the pump fueled up.
